I spent many happy hours in the late 70s at the Mudd Club in Manhattan, where I knew a group of amazingly interesting people all at the cutting edge of popular culture. Among them, Michael Holman was a lightning rod to the universe of graffiti and Hip-Hop. Now he's remastering his classic documentary for the digital era. Winter residency in Venezia

I'm honored to receive a residency from the Emily Harvey Foundation for Winter 2013-2014. I'll be working on the second book of my historical trilogy, the finale of which is set in the streets of Venice, Italy.
